TOP ENGINEERING COLLEGES KOLLAM

The TKM College of Engineering has been at the forefront of Engineering Education in the state for the past five decades. It has contributed over ten thousand brilliant engineers, many of whom are stalwarts in their fields across the world. Over the years, the TKM College of Engineering has emerged as a centre of excellence, offering a wide spectrum of Graduate and Post Graduate Courses in Engineering and related areas.
Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri was started in 2002 as “Amrita Institute of Technology & Science” with a vision to produce quality engineers with service attitude for the benefit of the society and nation. The school was conceived of as the grooming ground for future engineering professionals of India. Initially it had only three branches: Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Information Technology.
T.K.M. Institute of Technology is the latest institute to be established by the T.K.M. College Trust and is located on a verdant 25-acre campus known as Musaliar Hills at Karuvelil, alongside the TKM Institute of Management. The T.K.M. Institute of Technology started functioning in the year 2002 and has the approval of the AICTE. It is affiliated to the Cochin University of Science and Technology. The Institute offers B-Tech courses in six disciplines with an intake of 60 students in each discipline.


The Travancore Eng.college is managed by the Travancore education society.The siciety is formed by a group of Visionaries and educationalist,whose contribution to the cause of education of our nation in general and educationally backward communities.




 UKF College of Engineering and Technology (UCET) is located at Kollam in Kerala.UCET was established by Universal Knowledge Foundation Trust in the year 2008. The institute is recognised by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Kerala University. Major facilities are library, lab etc.
Younus College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) is located at Vadakkevila in Kollam district of Kerala.YCET was started in the year 2002 by Fathima Memorial Educational Trust, Kollam. It is recognised by Govt. of Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The College is affiliated to the University of Kerala. Major facilities are library, lab etc
